New information has nowsurfaced, seeking to provide insight into Samsung's plans for the Dimensity9000.

As revealed by Chinese tipster It's Fat, Samsung does plan to launch a devicewith the Dimensity 9000. Supposedly, the company is prepping either theGalaxy A53 Pro, or the Galaxy S22 FE to land with the MediaTek SoC. Seeing asSamsung is yet to release a Pro model for any of its recent Galaxy A-seriesphones, the potential existence of a Galaxy A53 Pro looks iffy. A MediaTekchipset on the Galaxy S22 FE would be a bold choice as well, considering thephone's expected US$700 price point in the US.

According to the source, the Dimensity 9000-powered phone is expected to landwith a 4500 mAh battery. That's the same battery capacity as the Galaxy S20FE and S21 FE. The new Galaxy A-series phones, on the other hand, all feature5000 mAh batteries. Supposedly, it will be priced between CNY 3,000 (US$470)and CNY 4,000 (US$630) in China.
